A study on quality standards of Ganmaoling capsules

Abstract

Objective To improve the quality standard of Ganmaoling capsules. Methods Evodialepta, holly root, and Chrysanthemum indicum L in Ganmaoling capsules were identified by thin-layer chromatography and the content of paracetamol in this drug was determined by HPLC. Results All the TLC spots developed were clear and the negative controls showed no interference. Paracetamol showed a good linear relationship within a range of 0.1989-2.4925 μg, r=0.9999. The average recovery was 100.0%,and RSD was 0.83%. Conclusions This method is simple, reproducible and can be used for quality control of Ganmaoling capsules.
