Abstract

Objective To measure and assess the ability of judgement and locomotivity response on soldiers of a Chinese People’s Armed Force tactical unit, so as to provide basic data of scientific training for Armed Police Forces. Methods Anthropometric technology and measurement technology of judgement and locomotivity response time were used to assess the soldiers of the Armed Police Force tactical unit. Results The ability of judgement and locomotivity response in southern soldiers was 29.37±2.94, that in northern soldiers was 29.65±3.51, and there was no significant difference. The ability of recruits was 30.20±3.36, that reterans was 29.23±3.26, with significant difference (P<0.01). The normal body fat soldiers’ ability was 29.37±3.11, that of the pre-obese and obese soldiers was 30.76±4.33, with significant difference (P<0.01). The ability of judgement and locomotivity response in soldiers of this Chinese People’s Armed Force tactical unit was 29.55±3.32.Conclusions The ability of judgement and locomotivity response in recruits is inferior to that in veterans. The ability of overweight soldiers is inferior to that of normal body fat soldiers. The ability of judgement and locomotivity response of soldiers in this Chinese People’s Armed Force tactical unit is commonplace, and there is a number of soldiers with worse or worst such ability, suggesting that this Chinese People’s Armed Force tactical unit should strengthen the flexibility of specific training.
