Abstract

Objective To investigate some rick factors with embryonic arrest met with in living and working and discuss the influence of the factors on embryonic arrest to provide some scientific evidence for preventing embryonic arrest. Methods Sixty women with embryonic arrest were recruited as the case group while 60 women with normal pregnancy as the control group. One questionnaire survey to the two groups was conducted and the data were analyzed by t-test, χ2 test and logistic regression analysis. Result The incidence rate of embryonic arrest was related with 10 different factors, such as history of abortion, using time of the radioactive electrical equipment, sleep time<6 h/d, smoking, drinking, et al. (P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis revealed that the factors such as history of abortion (OR=18.254), using time of the radioactive electrical equipment 2-6 h/d(OR=43.067), >6 h/d(OR=94.886),sleep time<6 h/d often(OR=9.017), smoking often(OR=9.017), drinking often(OR=7.602), getting moderate exercise (OR=0.151), feeling depression during pregnancy (OR=46.025)and intense work (OR=108.003) were related to embryonic arrest(P<0.05 ). Conclusion With a history of abortion, using time of the radioactive electrical equipment>2 h/d, sleep time<6 h/d often, smoking and drinking frequently, feeling depressed during pregnancy and intense work might be the rick factors causing embryonic arrest while getting moderate exercise might be the protective factor preventing embryonic arrest.
