Abstract

Objective To study the diagnosis value of high-frequency ultrasonography in the gonarthromenigitis caused by army training. Methods A total of 42 patients with gonarthromenigitis caused by army training were collected to retrospective analysis. The ultrasonographic characteristics of gonarthromenigitis were analyzed and compared with those of X-rays and knee magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Results In ultrasound group, X-rays group, MRI group of acute traumatic synovitis, the synovial membrane thickness, articular cavity effusion quantity were (4.1?1.4) mm,(15.8?3.7) mm;(1.9?0.5) mm,(9.4?2.0) mm;(4.2?1.2) mm,(16.2?4.1) mm, respectively. The difference of detection rates between ultrasound group and X-rays group was significant(P<0.05), yet the difference between ultrasound group and MRI group was not significant. Before and after treatment those of high frequency ultrasound in synovial measurements were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions High frequency ultrasound in the diagnosis of traumatic synovitis, judging condition and follow-up has high application value.
