Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of acupoint pressure on vomiting caused by chemotherapy with platinum drugs.Methods 200 cases of Tumor patients with chemotherapy were selected which randomly divided into two groups, the control group was applied standard anti-nausea drugs, and observation group on the basis of treatments in the control group combined with acupoint press (li4 + close holes), once per day, every hole press 3 min, 7 d for a course of treatment. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared.Results The efficiency of the observation group 1,3,7 d was 70%, 90% and 95%, respectively, compared with that of the control group (50%, 55%, 58%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The KPS score of observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions The effect of acupoint pressure on Hegu and neiguan can alleviate the vomiting caused by platinum-based drugs.
