Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of predeployment military personnel resilience intervention program. Methods A computer search was conducted for the study of the resilience intervention for predeployment military personnel in Chinese and English electronic databases published until August 2023 to to evaluate the effectiveness of the resilience intervention program using the psychological resilience scale score as an evaluation indicator. After literature screening, data extraction and quality evaluation, meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.4.Results A total of 9 RCT studies were included, and the meta-analysis results showed that the psychological resilience scale scores of military personnel in the resilience intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group [SMD=0.57, 95% CI (0.46-0.67), P<0 01]. Subgroup analysis was conducted using the intervention method as the grouping standard. The results showed that the resilience intervention group using CBT intervention method had significantly higher scores on the psychological resilience scale of military personnel than the control group[SMD=0.59, 95% CI (0.35-0.83), P<0.01].Conclusions The predeployment resilience intervention program can effectively improve the resilience of military personnel, and it is expected to be popularized in the army.
